Beginning this fall, Naturally Taught is excited to launch dedicated sessions for homeschool families.

Starting October 17, 2026, we will hold two Friday blocks: a morning session from 9 am to 12 pm and an afternoon session from 1 pm to 4 pm. These gatherings proceed in all types of weather, including rain and snow. We require a minimum of five students to run a session, with a maximum capacity of twelve children.

Our curriculum is designed to keep your child physically active while refining both gross and fine motor skills. Participants will engage in collaborative planning, communication, and hands-on execution of their projects. As they explore diverse ecosystems, students will sharpen their ability to observe and record natural details. We integrate organic discussions on Indigenous perspectives and utilize nature journaling to document our journeys. The experience is enriched with art, games, and occasional guest experts.

These student-led activities serve as incredible launching points for various curriculum areas, including literacy, science, social studies, and math. With 30 years of experience in the BC school system, I ensure these outdoor adventures align with official learning standards while remaining immensely fun for the children.

My goal is to foster a practical connection to the outdoors and provide you, the primary educator, with fresh concepts to weave into your home learning. I am eager to partner with you in this educational journey. If families are interested, I can share regular highlights from our time together.

Enrollment for the full term ending June 4, 2026, is priced at $30 per three-hour session. We offer flexible payment plans, with options for full payment or eight installments as detailed in your confirmation email.
Once our core enrollment of five is met, drop-in spots will become available for $35 per session. To secure a drop-in spot, payment must be received by Tuesday evening of the desired week. Please note that sessions do not run on District Pro-D days (such as October 23rd), as we host separate camps on those dates.
